How to Create Using Custom Dimensions
Open your Slate dashboard and click 'Create Content' in the top right corner
Select 'New Project'
Click on the ratios located at the top left of the screen
Enter your desired content dimensions and your workspace will adjust accordingly
Press the lock icon next to your dimensions to lock it in place
Add any graphics, fonts, and backgrounds you wish to use with your content
When you're ready, click 'Export' at the top right of the screen to download your media
NOTE: Fonts, graphics and brand color (hex) backgrounds are the only asset types currently supported for creating content in a custom dimension.
Creating Carousels on Web
Using custom dimensions, you can create carousels that perfectly cut each image for an Instagram swipe through. Choose from 4x5 and 1x1 size options, with up to five images in the carousel.

Q: Can I create a template or overlay in a custom dimension?
A: No, the only asset types currently supported in custom dimensions are fonts, graphics, and backgrounds.
Q: Can I create in custom dimensions on mobile?
A: You can only create in the four standard sizes on mobile (1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16). Custom dimensions is currently a web based feature only.
Q: Can I create carousels on mobile?
A: Not yet! Currently this functionality is only supported on web.
